Dear Parents:  

The end of the 2005-2006 school is already here and I can truly say I am happy it’s over.  This year has been challenging for all, but thank God, it is behind us now and we need to get ready for an incredible upcoming school year.  During this past year the Home and School Association was very successful in their fund raising efforts for the school, thanks to you, the parents and the students for their generosity, perseverance and love for the school.  But we too suffered many challenges, because of the new alert system we thought a phone tree would be an excess; we found out very soon that nothing replaces the human touch, especially in times of need and because of all the challenges everyone was experiencing, our communication was limited.  

This year we want to be ready for the best year ever at La Salle and we need your help and participation.  Attached is a form for you to complete and return electronically.  This form will let us know in what event you would like to participate, also, it will let us know if you would like to involve yourself as a room parent, which will be an intricate part of the phone tree.  We will need at least 15 parents per grade in order to achieve the type of communication we aspire.  Also, by this means I would like to inform you of the positions on the board presently open for the next year.
